Points Plus


I've been so preoccupied lately I haven't mentioned anything about my weight loss. I've been doing Weight Watchers Points Plus for 3 weeks. I've lost a little over 10 pounds. I like it because of the online/mobile tools -I'm used to tracking but I hate having to keep up with pieces of paper - since I can track on my phone - I'm not having to keep up with extra crap :)

The weight is coming down slowly but surely. I'm excited to meet my first goal of 10% less. I will weigh 236 when I do and I can already tell a BIG difference in the way I feel and how my clothes fit.

The only reason I was able to commit to the program is b/c they brought the meetings to work during lunch time - that way I'm still able to keep my CSL Studio schedule! YAY ME!

Changes I've made that are making a difference: Keeping fresh food in the house in stead of crap food. I keep fresh fruits and cheese at work to snack on instead of killing the M&M canister all day at work - that seems to be where the bulk of troublesome mindless eating comes into play. When I want a cupcake or one of my other favs - I eat one...period. But I have found that since I have fresh snacks to munch on when I'm stressed that I only really want a cupcake once a week or even less. The only other thing I've done is I take the stairs instead of the elevator at work. I haven't figured out how to fit meaningful exercise in to my schedule yet but I'm working on it.

one of my close friends said to me one day "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" and that is the motto i have been living by! Im down 17 pounds since July 3rd. I could have been down more- but there has been a couple weeks where i really fell off the wagon and drown my stress with junk- and eating out.

I havent been skinny in so long - I dont remember what it feels like - but right now I think a cuppy may taste better lol! Thats awesome that you're down 17! Way to go!!! XO

Healthy food for the win! I don't think I lost weight when I started to eat more fruit and vegetables, and less crappy foods, but I sure do feel better. Great that you're feeling the benefits as well.
